The Cold Steel Trail Hawk is patterned after an early frontier tomahawk, which was designed as an all-purpose tool. The 1055 carbon steel 2 1/4" curved primary edge is great for chopping, while the rear hardened hammer poll can drive nails and hammer in stakes, as well as smash or crush almost anything. The lightweight Trail Hawk weighs just over 19 ounces and has a hawk length of 6 1/2" and a 19 1/8" replaceable American hickory handle, compact enough to belt carry or lash to a backpack.
