AccuSharp Knife and Tool Sharpener

The AccuSharp AS14 knife and tool sharpener requires very light downward pressure to provide the best sharpening experience.  It is designed to be hand-held, with the stationary knife laid blade edge up on a flat surface.  Holding the head end of the AS14 at a 90-degree angle to the knife's edge, use thumb pressure to press down lightly, drawing the AccuSharp along the knife edge past the pointed end of the blade.  Several initial passes may be required to hone the blade's cutting angle to match the AccuSharp.  Once achieved, only two or three passes will be required to keep your blade razor sharp!  The tungsten carbide sharpeners can be reversed to double their useful life.
